Venezuela closed its consulate in Miami (Chavez)

On Friday Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said the closure of the consulate of the country in Miami a few days after the Consul General of Venezuela, Acosta Livia Noguera, had been deported from the United States, reports the channel Univision.

U.S. authorities said Ms. Acosta Noguera persona non grata at the end of last week, following his statements concerning the organization of cyber attacks against the U.S. government. According to media reports, Ms. Acosta Noguera had discussed a possible virus attack when she was assigned to the Embassy of Venezuela in Mexico.
