NATO: 115 insurgents killed in eastern Afghanistan

KABUL – At least 115  insurgents were killed in operations in the north-eastern Afghanistan, NATO reported on Thursday.

The coalition and its Afghan partners have killed at least 115 insurgents the last ten days, during a “multiple series of small operations but the broader impact.”

Battles take place in the province of Kunar, which borders with Pakistan since October 15, said the Atlantic Alliance.
