Japan: mini-Noah’s Ark against tsunamis

TOKYO – A small Japanese company has developed a miniature modern Noah’s Ark in the event that the islands would again be hit by a major earthquake or tsunami, as those who have made nearly 20,000 deaths and disappeared on March 11.

This is a survival capsule resembling a huge yellow tennis ball. The president of Cosmo Power, Shoji Tanaka, said that this bubble fiberglass, with a window and ventilation holes on top, holds up to four adults and has undergone numerous tests resistance successfully.

It also can be used as a toy house for children. The company completed the capsule earlier this month and already has 600 orders, including two delivered.
