Iran: U.S. prefer diplomacy (Toner)

It is always possible to find a diplomatic solution to Iran nuclear issue, said the spokesman of U.S. State Department Mark Toner on Friday night in Washington.

“We remain committed to the so-called dual approach that combines diplomacy and the strengthening of the pressure. We are confident that we always have the time and space for a diplomatic solution”, stated M.Toner during a press briefing.

“We believe we must allow time for sanctions (…) to produce their effect,” added the spokesman for American diplomacy.

Previously, the Washington Post, referring to the Pentagon chief Leon Panetta, has reported that Israel could be a strike against Iran in the near future. However, M.Panetta was subsequently refused to comment on this topic.
