Iran refuses to deliver oil to Greece (agency)

Iran has refused to hand over to Greece 500,000 barrels of crude oil, reported the Iranian news agency Fars on Wednesday.

“The tankers had arrived in Iran to receive 500,000 barrels of Iranian oil for a Greek refinery were forced to return empty tanks, after Tehran refused delivery,” the agency reported.

Last week, the Iranian channel Press TV said Iran had stopped oil deliveries to France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Portugal and the Netherlands . However, this information was quickly denied by the Iranian Oil Ministry has indicated that supplies were maintained “humanitarian grounds”.
