In short – North Korea launched a rocket

Pyongyang – North Korea fired a long-range rocket early this morning, as the South Korean Ministry of Defense, defying warnings from the international community, which views the launch as a provocation.

A few days after North Korea had threatened to take such action, a rocket took off at 7:39 local time on the west coast in the hamlet of Tongchang-ri, said the instance of Chief of Staff South Korea in Seoul, citing intelligence South Korean and American. Japanese Minister of Defense, Naiki Tanaka, went in the same direction. Pyongyang had already announced its intention to launch a rocket equipped with an observation satellite as part of celebrations marking the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung, the founder of North Korea.
