Honda recalls 304,035 vehicles for airbag issue

TOKYO (Reuters) – Honda Motor recalled 304,035 cars worldwide due to faulty airbags on Friday.

This is the sixth in three years to recall a problem, said the manufacturer, resulting in injuries to 20 people on Friday.

Honda said he thought he had now regained all vehicles, nearly two million, affected by this lack of airbags.

Most of the recalled models, built in 2001 and 2002 were sold in the U.S., the rest being located in Canada, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore and others.
