Gaza: one dead and 20 wounded in Israeli raid

On Saturday Israeli warplanes attacked a camp of Palestinian fighters in Gaza, killing at least one person and wounding about 20, Palestinian doctors reported.

According to the press service of the Defence Army of Israel, this is a response to Palestinian rocket attacks against southern Israel, which continues to date. During last night, Palestinian militants fired about twenty rockets against Israeli territory, wounding one.

This exchange of strikes threatens the truce declared by the authorities of the Gaza Strip last Wednesday following a series of clashes, caused by the killing of a worker Israeli killed by Palestinian militants near the border with the Egyptian Sinai on Monday.

Israel says more than 130 rockets were fired from Monday to the Jewish state from Gaza, controlled by Hamas Islamists.
