China’s Floods Killed At Least 50 people

Flooding caused by torrential rains killed at least 50 in China, 42 others are missing, reported the New China News Agency on Friday.

The north and south of the Celestial Empire know floods since June 20. The previous record of 16 victims reported.

Following several weeks of torrential rains, more than 34,000 houses were destroyed and 89,000 others damaged. The economic damage is estimated at more than $ 1.6 billion.
