U.S.: Romney won the New Hampshire primary

After counting 95% of the vote, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, was the top of the first primary in the Republican presidential race, held on Jan. 10 in New Hampshire, USA.

According to local media, Mr. Romney won 39.4% of the vote, ahead of U.S. Congressman Ron Paul (22.8%).

The former governor of Utah and U.S. ambassador to China, Jon Huntsman, came third with 16.8% of the vote, after a surprise defeat in the State of Iowa (0.6%).

Former Senator Rick Santorum, number two in Iowa, is in fifth position, just after Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House of Representatives (respectively 9.3% and 9.4%).

Texas Governor Rick Perry appears in the sixth position with 0.7% of the vote.
