U.S. city of Joplin after a tornado missing 230 people, 126 killed

More than 230 people remain missing after a powerful tornado that struck this week at the U.S city of Joplin, Missouri.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Public Safety Missouri, Joplin missing still listed as 232 people. As of Thursday, the death toll has reached 126 people, affected – more than 900 people.




Four days after the tornado, some families still cannot figure out what happened to their relatives. Group of rescuers with sniffer dogs are still looking for victims in the ruins of the city.





City with 50 thousand inhabitants were destroyed by a tornado in the night from Sunday to Monday. The next day, Barack Obama promised to visit this city and help its residents.
