Three years after the sudden death of actor Heath Ledger, Naomi Watts still remembers the good times she spent with him during their relationship, reports US magazine.
Watts, 43, attended Ledger from 2002 to 2004, and she says the actor, who died in 2008 left her with lasting memories.
The star said: “We had a great relationship, just a few years, but he was a man full of joy, and there was lots of laughter and affection. He had a very special soul. ”
Thinking about this old love, Watts says a lot of sympathy for his daughter, Ledger went on to date actress Michelle Williams, with whom he had a child, Matilda who turns six in October.
Watts says, “Do not know my father always made me feel that I was missing part of myself that I did not know. ”
She added: “Heath was a wonderful actor, but I know there was so much more to come. It’s such a tragedy for his daughter. ”
Ironically, Watts – who has two sons with her boyfriend Liev Schreiber – lost her father when she was just seven.
