Five Dead in Christmas Morning in Connecticut

STAMFORD, USA – On Sunday morning a fire that broke out at a residence in Stamford, Connecticut, has killed five people.

It could be a family. The victims are two adults and three children, but their identity has not yet been revealed.

“Three adults and two children lost their lives,” Pavia said in news video posted on the Stamford Advocate newspaper’s website.

“At this point, we have nothing further to say, except that our hearts and prayers go out to the family and to emergency personnel on the scene,” he added.

Calls to the mayor’s office and Stamford fire department were not immediately returned, as offices were closed for the weekend and the Christmas holiday.

The fire had originated around 5 am.

No other details were made ​​public by the authorities.

Stamford is a city of 117,000 inhabitants, located about 40 kilometers southwest of New York.
