Gay marriage is reflected especially in California, where many actors who support legalization but was prohibited by referendum in November 2008.

Earlier in the day, at another fundraiser in Seattle, Washington State, Obama had already attracted applause by saying that all Americans should be able to succeed “who we are , where we come from, whatever our appearance, our family name or the person we love. ”

“Here in Washington State, you have the chance to make your voice heard on this issue which is to ensure that everyone, regardless of sexual orientation is treated fairly,” he added.
