The hybrid kart will be all the rage!

The designer Facundo Elias has recently introduced his latest creation: a hybrid kart. Made with a team of young engineers, the prototype is currently operational.

Hybrid, the vehicle has both an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. Its hull was made ​​of a steel alloy. Externally, the kart is not exceptionally innovative, it displays a certain modernity. Both engines can be operated simultaneously, allowing the kart to drive with a battery life of four hours. The internal combustion engine is 160 cc, 5 hp at 3600 rpm. Renault 4L tank was used. As for the electric motor, it operates at a voltage of 48 volts, 5500 watts and also rotates at 3600 rpm. The steering wheel has controls own, especially for speed.

The structure of the kart is specially designed to provide more safety to the driver in a collision. The seat was made with fiberglass, foam and recycled fabric for both security reasons and ergonomics.
