Saudi Prince Al-Waleed invested $ 300 million in Twitter

Dubai, UAE- On Monday Saudi billionaire Prince Al-Walid bin Talal said  that he had invested $ 300 million for the micro-blogging site Twitter.

This investment company with his Kingdom Holding Company focuses on “a promising high-growth, with an international impact.”

Twitter allows its users to send short messages of 140 characters.

Alwaleed’s KHC is a major shareholder in Citigroup and holds stakes in other large stakes in other western giants, including Apple and Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation.
