Samsung launches the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+

This was expected and Samsung confirmed leaks around its brand new phablettes. The Korean manufacturer has unveiled the latest model of the Galaxy Note range, the Note 5, but also another large format device (5.7 inches), the Galaxy Edge + S6.

The first Note 5. Samsung has redesigned the hull (Full metal) and the smoothness of the terminal which weighs only 171 grams. The PHABLET has a 5.7 inch screen (2,560×1,440 pixels) and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Note 5: Galaxy S6 with Stylus

As for specs, we can also mention the presence of a Exynos processor 7 octa-core, 4GB of RAM, a 3,000 mAh battery, 32GB of storage (or 64GB), objective 16-megapixel rear and 5 mpx front.

In summary, the Galaxy Note 5 is as a larger version and equipped with a stylus (S-Pen) Galaxy S6 launched in April by Samsung. The new terminal will be on sale in the United States from August 21, that is to say, before the latest Apple expected in September. In Europe, no availability date has been announced.

Galaxy S6 + Edge: Rating 5 without S-Pen stylus

The Samsung Galaxy S6 + Edge also released on August 21 and September 3 in Europe. Its uniqueness compared to other manufacturer’s models is therefore to be equipped with a 5.7 inch screen on the two curved edges. Otherwise it displays the same technical characteristics as the Note 5, without the stylus. Starting price (32 GB) of 749 euros. As to Note 5, the price in the US, according to operators, is around 800 dollars too.
