Office 2016 for Mac: priority to Office 365 subscribers

Five years after the last major update, Office 2016 Mac is available in final version. Mac users will be able to discover the new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote that support quality Retina screens,
full screen display and multi-touch gestures and the ribbon Office.

The office suite is connected to Office 365 services, onedrive, Onedrive for Enterprise and SharePoint. Users can thus access their documents from any terminal resuming where they were interrupted. New tools also facilitate the sharing and teamwork.

For the moment, only the Office 365 subscribers can download this update, but Microsoft will offer a standalone version single license in September. Its price has not been announced.
