Mini iPad 4 launch and view two apps simultaneously

9 iOS, the iPad Mini 4 could allow a user to split the screen into two and thus view two apps. A new function not already active on iPad since the iPad Air 2.

Besides Apple had demonstrated this screen SPLITE during WWDC last June. This presentation was then run on an iPad Air 2 running the next version of iOS.

The manufacturer stated that only the authorized version of the iPad this view thanks to its more powerful processor and its memory supplement. However a resource file linked to the next Safari suggests, according to 9to5Mac, the iPad Mini 4 also will benefit from this feature of iOS 9.

Apple has a pressing need to boost sales of iPad, steadily and sharply for several consecutive quarters. Now, the iPad Mini 3, launched in October 2014, brought no real news except the Touch ID support. In the absence of material evolution, Apple can rely on software innovations.

Not sure, however, that this is sufficient to encourage consumers to replace their shelves. For 2015, the outlook is not encouraging on the market. Gartner expects 207 million tablets shipped worldwide, down 5.9% year on year.

To explain this decline, Forrester highlights a longer life cycle than expected, a distinct lack of new features and innovation and cannibalizing smaller models by phablettes.
