Microsoft: Surface 2.0 delayed

Presented in January at CES, the first Microsoft Surface table 2.0 should be out early next year.

The U.S. Company announced in July that its 2.0 Surface tables are available in over twenty countries by the end of 2011.

At the same timeit released a development kit for its tables. The kit enables Microsoft developers to adjust the resolution and the size of their applications, but also to determine the maximum number of simultaneous contact points and differentiate the portrait of landscape mode. In addition to the ability to recognize objects provided with a specific tag, the application will take into account the degree of inclination of the device and run on PCs with Windows 7 and with a touch screen.

Except that several developers have expressed problems with Microsoft to the start of the system. Designed by Samsung, SUR40 (scientific name) with a processor AMD Athlon X2 2.9 GHz of 245th coupled with 4 GB of RAM and a graphics processor AMD Radeon HD 6750 with 1 GB of memory. The hard drive has an embedded capacity of 320 GB.

US ZDnet reports so that the official launch of Surface 2.0, estimated at $ 7,600 (against $ 12,500 for an area), is now scheduled for January 2012.
