LG and National Geographic team up for 3D

LG and National Geographic have announced a partnership to create a 3D image gallery for LG Optimus 3D.

A team of artists of the image will take 3D photos with the phone from LG, the first smart phone 3D without glasses, with the architecture Tri-dual (dual-core, dual-channel, dual-memory) in places the most amazing and improbable world.

“For over a century, National Geographic was the dominant institution on wildlife, landscapes, travel and fashion photography of life,” said Dr. Park Jong-seok, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile communications Company. “Having six photographers from National Geographic shows the power of the imaging capabilities of the 3D Optimus. It is an honor and an important moment in the acceptance of 3D technology in a portable device like a smartphone. ”

The team will consist of four photographers and two videographers renowned Steven Alvarez, Brian Skerry, Bryan Harvey, Justin Guariglia, Peter Hutchens and Steve Winter.
