Lenovo combines with Taiwan Inventec in the market for x86 China

Assembler Inventec Lenovo and establish partnership on servers in China. Both Chinese and Taiwanese companies join forces to strengthen their presence in the segment for x86 in the Middle Kingdom reports Digitimes.

Alibaba, Baidu or Tencent, Chinese technology companies that consume amount of IT resources, including servers, have agreements with Inspur or Sugon Information Industry. Sure, the Chinese IT market nationalized at high speed, but Lenovo is not in a favorable position in the server market in China. Hence the alliance to boost the supply of Lenovo.

The deal would involve fewer servers qu’Inventec flows on its own and is working more closely with Lenovo. Inventec his side can put one foot in R & D of Lenovo. Above all, it is a way for this company to position itself in the Chinese market, difficult to access for foreign players.
