Today many applications are based on your habits in order to deliver the right information at the right time via the technology of Machine Learning. This is particularly the case Cortana Microsoft or Google Now. But now, the popular Google Maps will also anticipate your needs.
The new version of the Android app (currently being deployed) includes indeed the Driving Mode. The principle is simple: depending on its knowledge of previous trips, or historical research, the tool would be able to anticipate future destinations while on the move. If this is the correct destination, a route would be proposed as well as related information.
Obviously, as with PDAs, plus the application is used, the greater its ability to anticipate will be strong.
This new version of Google Maps offers other new features such as the integration of audio switches to the navigation mode or a new setup screen for the timeline.
