Apple Music is available for Android

Almost four months after the iOS version, Apple Music is now available for devices running Android from version 4.3. One can find the application on the Google Play Store.

Apple will not make jealous because the version for the green robot (even if it is saddled) is identical to the iOS version. We found almost the same interface, the same catalog of 30 million tracks, the Connect social network and radio 1. Apple Beats nevertheless indicates that the program is still in beta phase.

The pricing model is also obviously the same: free trial period of three months and subscription to 9.99 euros per month. The family plan is also available: it provides for less than 15 euros monthly subscription for six
accounts (not necessarily of the same family for that matter) to connect
simultaneously and independently with a single credit card.

This arrival on Android should give a boost to the user base. Music Apple currently has 6.5
million paying subscribers, is already much more than the French Deezer
but still far from Spotify and its 20 million customers.

The question is whether Android community be sensitive to this
app made in Apple … Its users will in any case three months
to test it for free. But according to a study by MusicWatch
from a representative panel of 5,000 US consumers, the
Apple Music retention rate is quite low with nearly one
User two leaving the service after trying it.
