Android: a new design for the Google Play

Google regularly renews its interface Google Play application store, the central point of its content for Android distribution strategy. And a new refresh is expected to “soon”.

Kiril Grouchnikov, creator of enterprise interfaces has posted on his Google+ account images of the future store. Simplicity is the order of the day with the passage of the current six sections (Apps, Games, Movies, Music, Books and Kiosk) only two categories, and “Games & Applications” “Entertainment” that encompass each, a number of subtopics.

To switch from one to the other of these two categories, simply drag your finger shorizontalement from the edge . the screen of the terminal used in the sub-menus can be found: “Games”, the “Top Apps”, the “Categories” and the catalog “Family”. Or “TV & Movies” on “Music”, the “Books” and “Kiosk”. It will also be possible to read from right to left, allowing the display texts in Hebrew or Arabic.

Google has not yet given a date for the deployment of this new version . The stakes are high: If the Google Play store is generating the most downloads, it is still far from Apple’s App Store in terms of profitability.
