Tennis: Novak Djokovic in action – Basel 2011

BASEL, Switzerland (Reuters) – On Tuesday World number one Novak Djokovic passed  in the first round of the ATP tournament in Basel (Switzerland) by giving up a run in the Belgian Xavier Malisse (6-2 4-6 7-5).

The French Michael Llodra, however, was tilted in two sets against the Croatian Ivan Ljubicic (7-5 6-4).

Wounded in the thigh, the American Mardy Fish, who is currently the last qualifying place for the Masters in London, gave up after only one game against his compatriot James Blake.
