Tennis: Nadal and Murray qualified for the quarterfinals in Tokyo

TOKYO (Reuters) – World number two Rafael Nadal has qualified for Thursday’s quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Tokyo, by removing the young Canadian Milos Raonic 7-5 6-3.

His compatriot David Ferrer will also be present at this stage of the competition after beating with difficulty the Australian 6-2 6-2 4-6 Matthew Ebden.

Scot Andy Murray, seeded number two in the tournament, has not dragged on its side on the court by having snapped the American Alex Bogomolov 6-1 6-2.
