Tennis: Marion Bartoli in the second round in Tokyo

TOKYO (Reuters) – On MondayFrench Marion Bartoli  qualified for the knockout round of the WTA tournament in Tokyo, beating Japan’s Ayumi Morita in straight sets 6-3 0-6 6-3.

However, her compatriot Pauline Parmentier was eliminated by the young German Julia Gorges 6-3 6-4.
