Tennis: Gaël Monfils lost a place at the ATP

PARIS (Reuters) – The game schedule and the Davis Cup did make some changes in the ATP rankings when the French Gael Monfils lost a place, slipping from seventh to eighth.

It remains the best representative of French tennis at Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (10th), Gilles Simon (11th) and Richard Gasquet (15th).

Argentina’s Juan Martin Del Potro, who helped his country’s qualification for the Davis Cup final at the expense of Serbia, won him four places from the 17th to 13th.

Serbia’s Janko Tipsarevic is in the opposite direction.
