Ricardo Alvarez joins Inter Milan

Ricardo “Ricky” Alvarez, midfielder of Velez Sarsfield (Argentina), has signed a five-year contract worth 17 million dollars with the Italian club Inter Milan.

Alvarez, 23, trained at Boca Juniors before joining Velez is one of the promises of Argentine soccer. Nicknamed the “Kaka (Brazil international at Real Madrid) Velez,” the player who is playing on the left side in attack led his club to the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores final (Champions League South American) and in the first place final Clausura Championship in Argentina.

He joined Inter in a strong colony of Argentine Javier Zanetti, Esteban Cambiasso, Diego Milito and Walter Samuel.
