OJ-2014: Sochi hosts the first forum of Russian sports journalists

The first Forum of Russian sports journalists is taking place since Wednesday in Sochi Russian city on the coast of the Black Sea which will host the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The forum is called to inform Russian journalists covering the principles of the XXII Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games XIth 2014.

The forum, which ends April 27, was organized by RIA Novosti and agency-R Sport with the support of Olympic and Paralympic Committees and the Russian Information Centre Sochi-2014 centralized.

The President of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov hailed the initiative of RIA Novosti news agency hosting the 2014 Olympics, to organize this forum. “The partnership between the Olympic Committee of Russia and RIA Novosti are very important,” said M.Joukov at the inauguration ceremony.

The director of communications at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Mark Adams, who attended the forum, welcomed the participants in this event. “Viewers rely on a professional and comprehensive coverage of the Games. The IOC therefore ensures that the working conditions of media to be perfect,” said M.Adams.
