Novak Djokovic withdraws from Masters of Paris-Bercy

PARIS (AP) – On Friday Serbia’s Novak Djokovic announced his withdrawal from the Tennis Masters Paris-Bercy, due to a shoulder injury.

Novak Djokovic, who won Thursday’s “derby” in the third round which opposed his compatriot Viktor Troicki, he said on his website that he had pushed his body “to the limit.” After this match, he adds, “my shoulder worsened. For this reason, I think my health and retire even if my desires as a professional player is to play to the end.”

“My season has been long and tiring, I played all my matches in my highest and my body now needs to recover,” the Serbian 24.

“I do not have the same level as the last ten months,” was recognized Thursday at the end of the match the global winner of three Grand Slams in 2011 and author of a sacred record five tournaments in 1000 Masters . He was already suffering from shoulder arriving at Bercy.
