While Moratti is not completely resigned to losing the services of Leonardo, the Brazilian is expected to leave his role to become a director at Paris St Germain.
“It will be a weekend of work.We will assess the various possibilities.”said Moratti.
Moratti admits he has been assessing the merits of potential successors, but claims to have never approached Ancelotti, who spent eight years with Inter’s rivals AC Milan and is out of work after being sacked by Chelsea.
“(Delio) Rossi (ex-Palermo), (Sinisa) Mihajlovic (Fiorentina), (Gianpiero) Gasperini (ex-Genoa), Dunga (ex-Brazil), Zico (BRA / ex-Olympiakos / GRE) are to be considered ” Moratti said.
The Italian press also mentioned the names of the Italian coach of England, Fabio Capello, the Dutchman Guus Hiddink, also coveted by Chelsea, or the young prodigy of FC Porto, André Villas-Boas (33) . But these operations will be difficult to achieve for reasons for cost of transfer.
