London – The English Premier League club said yesterday that Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba remains in critical condition two days after being taken to a London hospital after collapsing on the ground, victim of cardiac arrest. The team reported that Muamba made small progress and can now move the legs and arms.
He no longer needs medication, his heart is now beating without the assistance of medication. The heart of the athlete 23 years old had not started beating again by himself before his arrival at London Chest Hospital on Saturday night. Muamba collapsed just before halftime of the game as Bolton delivered on the lawn of Tottenham.
