LONDON (Reuters) – English footballer David Beckham will sign for the club that makes playing in an environment that suits his family, he said in an interview published in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday.
David Beckham is coveted by Paris Saint-Germain and for Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham in England. But he could also choose to renew his contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The former Manchester United idol, 36 years old, does not intend to retire and hopes to play the Olympics with the British team in London next year.
“People say I’ll go to Paris Saint-Germain because my wife (Victoria Beckham) would love Paris, but what will make the decision, is the best place for my family and where I can continue to play,” said the player.
“None of my transfer was done according to the Beckham brand,” he says in reference to statements by the president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser al Khelaifi.
Beckham will not announce his decision before the end of the season in the United States.
