F1 – New Jersey 2013 – No worries in Montreal

The promoter of the Grand Prix of Canada, Francois Dumontier is not worried about the possible competition of the race in New Jersey which will open in 2013.

“Listen. We, we have a valid contract until 2014, says he. I know that along the way, there will be discussions for renewal, but I think it does not worry me unduly. This will be visible. ”

“In the U.S., he says, we had trouble in past years. So before thinking of having two, three and even four, Bernie Ecclestone should go one at a time. ”

He concedes that New Jersey is geographically close and it’s a market that is the Montreal Grand Prix. He rather believes in working with New Jersey.

It is important to optimize the presence of these two events and then, perhaps, look to implement a third race in North America.

The developer believes the project here in Austin, Texas, that could be realized in 2012.
