The experiment was conducted among women with sensitive skin to the sun by researchers from Laval University in Quebec City (Canada). They all have eaten three squares of dark chocolate a day for twelve weeks. According to scientists, the polyphenol content, organic molecules contained in dark chocolate, explain the protective effect of cocoa.
Without revealing the results of the study have not yet been made public, cocoa ensure good oxygenation and circulation of blood to the skin surface.
The downside, however, for lovers of white chocolate and milk, only the dark chocolate that contains at least 60-85% cocoa would work!
