This summer, stock up on vitamins!

In summer, enjoy more fruits and vegetables in season: apricots, broccoli, raspberries, gooseberries, lettuce, peaches, peppers, plums … In summer, take time to stroll in the markets. The opportunity is too good to fill your basket of fruit and vegetable shapes and bright colors. Are you ready to discover?
Raw, stewed or a pie, apricots feast your taste buds. In addition, they are very rich in vitamins A, B and C. In the same way also the peaches, nectarines and other nectarines which also apply to their water supply. Did you know for example that it represented 80% of the weight of a fish?
Whatever its color, plum is just as light and refreshing. It is especially rich in fiber, and therefore known for its laxative properties. Slide in your cart also some clusters of currants. Very low in calories, they will give you vitamin C and trace minerals: potassium, zinc and iron, among others. Such as tomatoes and eggplant, it belongs to the nightshade family. It is particularly interesting for its fiber and lycopene. You eat it raw as an appetizer or salad, or barbecued.  A real delight.

Summer is also the beginning of the season broccoli, rich in antioxidants. Do not skimp on the lettuce and cucumbers. How about fennel? Tip: choose the good white and firm.
