These results suggest that as Tai Chi could be integrated into the treatment protocol of this pain syndrome.
A similar study published together, tai chi reduces pain and increases the general welfare of people with fibromyalgia, but also arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis …). Compared to patients continuing their usual treatment, the followers of tai chi experienced less pain, less stiffness and also less fatigue.
Note that for those with minimal movement, tai chi can also be practiced in a sitting position, with similar benefits.
