The past is often a source of inspiration for designers, even to realize concepts for the future. Fayton is a futuristic vehicle inspired by the myth of Phaeton. The phaetons also horse-drawn carriages, popular in the 19th century. Fayton has many similarities with these conventional vehicles. The wheels of the car are quite thin but it’s not really a problem in that the cabin is ultra light and embarks two people in tandem. The vehicle body is made entirely of glass, providing a 360 degree view. The concept is also environmentally friendly. Indeed, it runs on solar energy. Its roof is made of glass retractable solar exploiting sunlight to charge its battery power.
Fayton was envisioned by the designer Utkan Kiziltug. A car is unlikely to have an imaginary place in the modern world, especially as the term suggests phaeton more clumsy and accident, two features it is better to separate the cars.
