Mel Gibson officially divorced from his ex-wife Robyn

On Friday a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles officially pronounced the divorce of actor-director Mel Gibson Australian-American and his ex-wife Robyn, said the court.

Financial terms of the divorce were not disclosed. Mel Gibson’s fortune, which has at least three houses in the posh resort of Malibu (West Los Angeles), is estimated at $ 900 million.

Robyn Gibson – who officially returned to Friday’s maiden name, Robyn Denise Moore – had filed for divorce in April 2009, on the basis of “irreconcilable differences” with her ​​famous husband, aged 55.

The couple, who married in 1980, had seven children – six boys and one girl.

Mel Gibson is also the father of a girl of 26 months, he had with his former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

The actor, who won two Oscars for “Braveheart” in 1996 (Best Picture and Best Director), hit the headlines repeatedly in recent years.
