Gaga and Bieber dominate MTV Europe Awards

LONDON – With four and two trophies, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are the big winners of the MTV Europe Music Awards presented Sunday night in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The queen of pop for the young and eccentric outfits Heartbreaker found on the net have won prices include the best artists of the year.

Lady Gaga, who has carried out several spectacular costume changes during the evening, also won in the categories of best song and best video for the title “Born This Way,” in addition to being honored for her countless fans.

For his part, Justin Bieber took home the coveted trophy of the pop artist of the year.

Bruno Mars, Eminem and Katy Perry are among the other winners of the evening, during which the band Queen was presented with the honorary award of “Global Icon”. It was an opportunity for the symphony graying rockers to close the ceremony with some classics, including “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions.”

In casual, Justin Bieber modestly acknowledged voting for Kanye West. After receiving his second award, the 17 year old Canadian singer thanked his fans for their support in spite of “all the dirt on the Internet”, referring to allegations of a young woman who accused him of being the father of her child supposedly conceived during a brief sexual relationship last year.
