Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will re-team again

12 years after playing together in Dogma directed by Kevin Smith the two friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, who also wrote and starred in Good Will Hunting Dogma two years before, in 1997, this time to focus on Whitey Bulger.

Damon embody the lead and give the reply to Affleck (performing well) and the latter’s brother, Casey Affleck, who had also appeared in Good Will Hunting.

According to Warner Bros.. Pictures, the film tells the life of James Whitey Bulger, the head of the Winter Hill Gang in Boston, who was wanted by the FBI for his involvement in 19 murders. However, it was notified of his imminent arrest by a federal agent who was hired as an informant. Bulger was finally arrested at age 81 after 16 years on the run.

Terence Winter wrote the screenplay. Pearl Street Productions, the company of Damon and Affleck, co-produce the film with Warner Bros..

Affleck now realize Argo, which will open September 24, 2012. It would also be approached to make the film adaptation of the work of Stephen King, The Stand.

As for Matt Damon, he will voice the film Happy Feet Two scheduled on November 18, and then we can see in We Bought a Zoo on 23 December.
